How do I type faster?

So you want to learn how to type faster... you have come to the right place. Since you're here we'll let you in on a little secret. The secret to typing faster... is well... Practice! If you continuing practicing good typing habits such as touch typing and your accuracy (avoid making typos) you are on your path to becoming a speed typist! 🖐️ Learn Touch Typing

Touch typing is the practice of typing WITHOUT looking at the keyboard and using your muscle memory to press the keys of what you want to type. If you can accomplish this, you will save a lot of time so you don't have to keep looking for the key placements.

✅ Focus on Accuracy

If you're already touch typing, that is super great! Another important skill is to focus on your accuracy. Avoid making mistakes so you don't have to spend more time correcting mistakes.

🧪 Keep Practicing

Just keep practicing! If you are willing to take maybe 10-20 minutes out of your day to practice learning typing you can definitely improve your skill a lot. Keep positive vibes, which is key to learning anything. If you are learning something, make sure you have a positive experience so that you are willing to continue doing it.

📈 Building your skill isn't linear

This means your progress isn't always going up. Some days are different. It can be frustrating when you see some days you aren't performing as well than others. That's okay, this is completely normal. Just remember that progress is not linear, keep on trying and practicing.
