How do I change my username?

At the moment, we do not provide an option to change your login username on TypeRacer as it serves as a unique identifier for your account.

However, we understand that this is a feature that our users may want in the future, and we will take this into consideration as we continue to improve our platform. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

You can change your Display Name Instead.

To update your name on Typeracer, follow these simple steps:

1. Look for the blue settings icon located next to your username in the top-right corner of the page.
2. Click on the icon and you'll see a menu. Then, select "Account Settings."
3. Once on the Account Settings page, you'll see an option to change your display name.
4. Type in your new name in the appropriate field, and then click "Submit" to save your changes.
