Why do I get this error with Google ID? [<%error%>]

If you receive the error noted below, we usually see this due to a Google authentication error. This could be due to permissions errors or because you did not create a Google-linked ID in the first place. Please note that if you did not use the Google option to create an account, you should not be using the Google option to log in, and vice versa. 

In the case of permissions, and if you are a teacher, you may need to contact your school's IT department to make sure you have permission to use our connect your Google ID with our site.
